Our Story
Over The Road Amateur Radio Club is a community-driven organization for amateur radio enthusiasts, sharing knowledge and hosting events that connect people over the airwaves. Founded in 2005, our club thrives on the enthusiasm of members and the spirit of innovation in ham radio communication.
Our Mission
We aim to promote the hobby of amateur radio, provide education and training for new operators, and create a community of like-minded individuals passionate about radio communications.

John has been an amateur radio operator for over 20 years. He specializes in emergency communications and has participated in numerous disaster relief operations. When not on the radio, he enjoys hiking and landscape photography.

Maria is passionate about digital modes and has authored several articles on FT8 operation. She organizes the club's field day activities and mentors new operators. In her professional life, she works as a software engineer.

Robert maintains meticulous records for the club and manages our newsletter. He's an avid CW operator and enjoys building his own antennas. Robert teaches electronics at the local community college and loves introducing students to ham radio.

Sarah manages the club's finances and fundraising activities. She specializes in satellite communications and has completed WAS (Worked All States) via satellite. When not working on radio projects, she enjoys running marathons and volunteering at animal shelters.
